All of my drones use electric power, so this is where I'm flying. Not across the street in the weeds.
Model Helicopter and Drone Pad are not well maintained
Notice the mowed grass area on the right and the unmaintained area on the left (Helicopter/Drone)
This is what thy call the Helicopter and Drone Pad
I brought my orange landing pad
Across fron the glider field are tables and electricity for charging batteries
Down by the Helicopter and Drone Pad area there are a couple of tables, but no electricity
Posted signs and rules
If someone mentions that "Drones and Helicopters are permitted only in the dirt lot" you should ask, "Where is the dirt lot?" There is no dirt lot. There is a field with tall weeds but that is not a dirt lot. The area marked "QUAD COPTER AREA" on the map is outside the "OPERATING AREA".
Be sure and ask them, "Have you checked the Frequency Control Board?". Where is the Frequency Control Board? Can you show me the safety line as required by AMA Document #706? Can I see your AMA Membership card and TRUST Certificate? I am flying an electric powered aircraft. This is the "Model Flying Field for Gliders & electric power only".
